How to Interpret the Animation.
The animation has 4 panels for each day of the simulation: [top-left] - infrared satellite image (GOES, NOAA), [bottom-left] - precipitation (FSL, NOAA), [top-right] - viable soybean rust (SBR) spores in the atmosphere, [bottom-right] accumulated deposition of SBR spores on soybean for the 2005 growing season. For this model run, cohorts of spores were released from known source regions in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississipi and South Carolina.

This animation was constructed by Annalisa Ariatti, Scott Isard and Joe Russo.
